Happy All Saints’ Day!

Yesterday was All Hallows’ Eve, and today is All Saints’ Day! Aside from the fact that this is the day the Halloween candy is 50% off, All Saints’ Day is one of the biggest feasts of the Church because it’s a day to celebrate everyone in Heaven, known and unknown. I think that’s one of the reasons this is one of my favorite feasts–when I was little, I always thought the Communion of Saints was one of the most jaw-droppingly awesome things about being Catholic, and I still do. And to commemorate the feast, I have provided mood music in the form of the old Litaniae Sactorum (Litany of the Saints).

Today is also the first day of November’s National Blog Post Month. I think I’m off to a good start, don’t you?
